Councillor Denis Healy
Denis Healy Is well known for his record of action in Beverley for getting things done for local residents since he became an East Riding councillor in 2016. His many campaigns include helping to prevent development on Beverley’s green spaces, saving Beverley’s direct train services to South Yorkshire and helping local groups such as the scouts to access much needed funds from the council.
Councillor Linda Johnson
Linda Johnson is known in Beverley and beyond for her community activity. She is a member at Toll Gavel United Church, governor at East Riding College, helper at many of the town’s festivals and a local writer. She is a Circuit Steward, Local Preacher and Safeguarding Trainer She was elected to East Riding of Yorkshire Council and Beverley Town Council in 2019 since when she has got footpaths and roads repaired, challenged inappropriate planning decisions and promoted green policies, about which she is passionate.
Councillor David Boynton
Dave was elected to East Riding and Beverley Town Council in May 2019. His interests are notable campaigns in maintaining the historic nature of the town centre, championing Molescroft Scout Group in their plight when their HQ was under threat due to housing development and also working with relevant parties to secure a home for the Beverley Braves Rugby League Junior Team at Thurlow Avenue Playing Fields. He lives in Molescroft and is a Community Nurse for the NHS and has lived in Beverley for over thirty years.
